Senior Computer Vision/ML Manager

About the role

Jobline is looking for a Senior Computer Vision/ML Manager to design, develop, train and deploy AI/ML models for video analytics, object detection, facial recognition, license plate recognition, person re-identification and behaviour analytics, as well as multimodal and generative AI solutions. The role also covers building end-to-end AI pipelines and user-facing application layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, train and deploy AI/ML models for video analytics, object detection and tracking, facial recognition, license plate recognition, person re-identification, behaviour analytics, multimodal AI and generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
• Build end-to-end AI pipelines from data ingestion through model deployment and monitoring.
• Evaluate and benchmark state-of-the-art AI models and frameworks.
• Design and build user-facing application layers: data curation tools, training dashboards, evaluation, deployment workflows and monitoring.
• Own backend services (Python, FastAPI, gRPC) powering automated CV pipelines, integrating data prep, augmentation, training and evaluation into agent-driven workflows.
• Build scalable APIs with clean contracts, versioning and documentation consumed by internal teams and platform agents.
• Integrate and wrap CV toolkits (PyTorch, OpenCV, Ultralytics YOLO) so the platform can orchestrate them programmatically.
• Implement orchestration layers for multi-step pipelines with retry, rollback and SLA guarantees.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Image Processing or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in production deployment of AI solutions.
• Proven track record delivering AI projects from concept to deployment.
• Interest and ability to learn other programming languages, frameworks and technologies.
• Ability to contribute to architecting and engineering for AI is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Competence in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Advantageous: web development, big data technologies, container technologies, data analytics, machine learning and computer vision fundamentals.
• Advantageous: designing and evaluating deep learning algorithms, vision-language models, image and video preprocessing and retrieval.
