Senior Construction Engineer – Offshore EPC

About the role

As a Senior Construction Engineer – Offshore EPC you will support BP’s Tiber deepwater hub project, overseeing the construction and installation of a floating production unit and associated subsea systems. You will work closely with EPC contractors, the subsea team and vendors to ensure safe, high‑quality delivery aligned with BP’s HSE, quality and schedule expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Promote project HSE objectives and demonstrate safety leadership.
• Oversee EPC contractor work, ensuring compliance with BP processes, safety, quality and schedule.
• Implement Right First Time quality methodology and drive proactive quality culture.
• Lead construction self‑verification, constructability reviews and oversight programmes.
• Support the preparation and review of construction delivery documents and reports.
• Manage flange management oversight and safe installation of company‑provided items.
• Identify fabrication and construction risks and support risk‑management activities.
• Collaborate with the PCM to performance‑lead contractor delivery for construction scope.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offshore EPC construction engineering, preferably in oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of HSE, quality and risk management principles.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
