Senior Consultant, Compensation & Benefits

About the role

KLA's Human Resources team supports its global business by partnering with HR, business leaders and stakeholders on talent, compensation and benefits. As a member of the Global Compensation & Benefits Centre of Excellence, the C&B Consultant plays a key role in designing, implementing and managing compensation and benefits programs for Asia Pacific. The role is fast-paced and requires analytical thinking, problem-solving, organization and adaptive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with HR leadership, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance and business leaders to develop effective compensation and benefits solutions.
• Analyze and recommend on compensation and benefits programs, policies and practices, including market pricing, job evaluation and compensation benchmarking.
• Support annual compensation processes such as merit, bonus and other review programs.
• Review benefit plan design, competitiveness and effectiveness against the global benefits strategy, and monitor market trends and regulatory developments.
• Take part in compensation and benefits surveys and use market data to inform business decisions.
• Develop analyses, presentations and recommendations for HR and business leaders, and support regional and global initiatives, acquisitions, integrations and process improvements.
• Educate and advise HR partners and management on compensation and benefits programs and policies.

Required profile

• Preferred: demonstrated experience in compensation, benefits and Total Rewards programs; global experience is a plus.
• Experience conducting compensation benchmarking, market analysis and benefits reviews.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, presentation and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities and ambiguity.
• Minimum qualifications: doctorate degree with 5 years of related experience, master's degree with 8 years, or bachelor's degree with 12 years of related experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
• Experience with HRIS systems, including Workday, is preferred
