Senior Global Benefits Manager
kla · Singapore
Job description
About the role
KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is hiring a Senior Global Benefits Manager in Singapore. As part of the Global Compensation & Benefits Center of Excellence, the role coordinates and governs international employee benefits programs across multiple regions. It is accountable for governance, planning and coordination, not local execution, and sits between global strategy, corporate and regional teams, local HR and external partners.
The position is initially an individual contributor role with enterprise scope and no direct people management, with potential to build a small analytics or program support team as the function grows.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and govern international and enterprise benefits programs in line with company strategy, keeping them strategically aligned, cost effective, compliant with local regulations and consistently executed.
- Analyze cost, trends and risks using existing data sources and tools, partnering with analytics or finance teams on advanced modeling.
- Work with the VP Compensation & Benefits to set global benefits principles, standards and guardrails, and recommend updates.
- Lead the global benefits planning cycle, roadmap adherence and renewals, ensuring major changes go through the annual strategic planning process.
- Support benefits planning business cases, cost analyses and executive-ready materials.
- Act as the main contact for global benefits vendors, coordinating benchmarking, renewals, cost trend analysis and compliance updates.
- Turn approved changes into actionable guidance, timelines and deliverables for regional teams and local HR.
- Support M&A activities, including diligence, data and integration support.
Required profile
- Exceptional analytical thinking, experience influencing management, and a track record of building consensus and partnerships.
- Experience managing global or multi-country benefits programs, ideally across Asia and Europe.
- Background with a global broker or consulting firm (e.g. Mercer, Aon, Willis Towers Watson) or managing those relationships internally.
- Experience in a global technology or high-growth multinational environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting strategic planning, renewals or large-scale benefits changes across regions.
- Minimum qualifications: Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 8 years.
Required skills
- Familiarity with global benefits platforms, HRIS systems or benefits analytics and reporting tools.
- Excellent organization, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; expert knowledge of Excel.
