Senior Consultant – Cyber Defence & Resilience

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a Senior Consultant to strengthen our clients' cyber defences and resilience. You will lead vulnerability assessments, simulate real‑world attacks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve security posture across systems, networks and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate cyber risks by assessing systems, networks and applications for vulnerabilities.
• Conduct penetration testing across software, web applications, web services, networks, mobile apps and thick‑client environments.
• Develop and execute penetration‑testing methodologies and document findings in detailed reports.
• Recommend and help implement improvements to security policies and procedures.
• Stay current with the latest penetration‑testing tools, techniques and cybersecurity trends.
• Train staff on security awareness and collaborate with IT teams to enhance overall system security.

Required profile

• Proven experience in performing security assessments and penetration testing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simulate realistic cyber attacks.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning in the fast‑evolving cyber‑security landscape.
