Senior Corporate Communications Associate – Singapore

About the role

The Corporate Communications team in Singapore is looking for a Senior Associate to shape external reputation and internal messaging. You will work closely with regional and cross‑functional partners to ensure consistent storytelling and support risk assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications plans aligned with business priorities to protect and enhance Shopee’s reputation in Singapore.
• Adapt and localise regional narratives, campaigns, and messaging frameworks for the local market.
• Draft, edit, and refine press releases, media responses, key messages, FAQs, and executive talking points.
• Maintain accurate, clear communications outputs that reflect brand positioning and regulatory requirements.
• Support media engagement by building relationships with key journalists and responding to queries promptly.
• Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and industry trends to identify risks and storytelling opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations, commercial, and regional teams to ensure messaging consistency and executional alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Journalism, preferably in tech, e‑commerce, or logistics.
• Strong writing and editing ability to translate complex operational details into clear external messaging.
• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across teams and seniority levels.
• Experience in media relations and handling sensitive communications is a plus.
• Interest in digital platforms, e‑commerce, and operational storytelling.
