Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & Terraform

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a leading financial institution and help build, scale, and secure its Azure cloud platform. The role is hands‑on and focuses on Infrastructure‑as‑Code, CI/CD automation, and DevSecOps best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Drive automation, standardisation and IaC best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering groups to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions.
• Embed security, governance, monitoring and cost‑optimisation into the platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Azure services and Terraform.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
• Solid knowledge of Azure networking, security and identity services.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and cloud security tooling.
