Senior Engineer – Civil/Structural Design

About the role

TYLin is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead design and delivery of complex civil and structural projects in Singapore. The role involves overseeing detailed design, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of detailed design reports, calculations and drawings.
• Prepare and submit documentation to statutory agencies and authorities.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to produce complete design deliverables.
• Lead the preparation of tender documentation and participate in tendering processes.
• Support successful project delivery through design management and project control.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
• Minimum 5 years of design experience in building, geotechnical, infrastructure, rail or road projects.
• Familiarity with local codes and authority submission procedures.
• Strong analytical and project management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural design software.
• Experience using geotechnical FEM software.
