Senior Engineer, Public Cloud & DevSecOps

About the role

A global technology and telecoms company headquartered in Singapore is looking for a Senior Engineer, Public Cloud & DevSecOps to deliver public cloud and DevSecOps engineering work. The role supports dependable technology platforms used by the Technology department, with a work-from-home or hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver public cloud engineering activities that support reliable technology platforms.
• Develop and maintain DevSecOps engineering practices across technology delivery work.
• Build and improve cloud-based solutions to meet operational requirements.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that incorporate security measures following DevSecOps principles, embedding security in engineering and deployment processes.
• Work with Technology colleagues to resolve cloud platform issues and improve service reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation for public cloud and DevSecOps solutions.
• Review engineering outcomes and identify practical improvements to cloud delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of proven experience with cloud services on AWS or Azure, including architecture design and implementation.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, tools and methodologies, and knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards and risk management.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for cloud environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep and CloudFormation.
• Scripting languages such as Python, Bash and PowerShell for automation.
• Documentation of architecture, standards and patterns.

• Permanent position with a salary of SG$9,000 to SG$11,000 per month (SG$108,000 to SG$132,000 per year).
