Senior Engineer, SPMO Construction

About the role

Micron is hiring a Senior Engineer for its Site Strategic Program Manager Office (SPMO) team for construction in Singapore. You will support the construction site director and the construction leadership team in coordinating multiple construction projects and workstreams across Singapore, ensuring safe, timely, cost-effective and high-quality delivery. The role provides overall program governance, integrates cross-functional stakeholders (Facilities, EHS, Fab Operations, Procurement, Finance and Contractors) and ensures compliance with corporate construction standards, safety requirements and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and track program schedules, milestones and risks, and ensure delivery in line with Construction and Project Execution Plans.
• Act as the interface between site, global teams and contractors, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and contractor performance.
• Champion a safe and compliant work environment, including EHS, permit-to-work and regulatory requirements.
• Manage risks, costs, scope changes and constructability reviews.
• Provide regular status reporting and maintain construction dashboards.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality or effectiveness, and share AI-enabled improvements with the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a related field.
• 5+ years of engineering or program management experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing or construction.
• Strong program management, communication and leadership skills, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Certifications such as PMP or an equivalent project/program management certification are preferred.
