Senior / Enrolled & Staff Nurse (All Settings)

About the role

JurongHealth Campus, part of the National University Health System (NUHS), is recruiting Enrolled and Staff Nurses across various disciplines to deliver high-quality patient care. The campus comprises Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Enrolled Nurse: support Registered Nurses in coordinating patient care, assist physicians and RNs with bedside procedures, give patient education to patients, next of kin and caregivers, help with resuscitation and emergencies, support clinical supervision of new enrolled nurses and nursing students, identify causes of patient safety incidents and take part in quality improvement and clinical audits.
• Staff Nurse: assess, plan, implement and evaluate care under the direction of the Nurse Clinician, provide clinical procedures and support respiratory services including asthma and COPD counselling and telephone follow-up, prime dialysers and cannulate dialysis access, administer medications and blood products during dialysis, and reinforce infection control protocols.
• Staff Nurse also supports critically ill patients, prepares the operating room, checks equipment, assists surgeons, triages patients, performs focused assessments and assists with CPR and emergency stabilisation.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse: enrolled with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB), NITEC in Nursing or State Enrolled Nurse Certificate, at least 1 year of experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Staff Nurse: Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse Certificate, registered with SNB, at least 1 year of experience as a Staff Nurse; an Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for the Senior Staff Nurse position.
