Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Sales Advisory Process

About the role

This role supports Manulife's tied agency distribution channels (MAG - Manulife Advisory Group) and its financial advisory firm (MFA - Manulife Financial Advisers). It ensures the sales advisory process is robust, compliant and aligned with regulatory and business needs, with exposure to cross-functional collaboration, regulatory initiatives and system enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and update sales advisory frameworks to meet regulatory requirements, including MAS and LIA guidelines and internal policies.
• Act as subject matter expert for enquiries on sales support and sales advisory process flows.
• Partner with IT and stakeholders on system enhancements: define scope, prepare user stories, develop test plans and run user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Review, implement and maintain business rule guidelines for T&C operations.
• Support business-as-usual activities and assigned projects on future ways of working.
• Keep agents informed on the status and progress of their requests.
• Perform quality checks and audit sampling, manage audit and regulatory enquiries, and prepare management reports and presentations.
• Organize and run training, briefings and workshops for the sales force.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• 2-5 years of experience in the life insurance industry, preferably in advisor operations or sales support.
• Experience supporting T&C frameworks or regulatory-driven operational processes.
• Exposure to MAS or LIA requirements in financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proven stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of life insurance products, FAA investment products and sales advisory processes.
• Hands-on involvement in system implementation or enhancement, including UAT.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power BI experience preferred.
