Senior Executive / Asst Manager, E-Commerce Logistics Business Development

About the role

Singapore Airlines Cargo is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its Digital & E-Commerce Logistics department (Commercial). The role develops the Parxl product, contributes to its sales and revenue, and drives growth by building strategic partnerships and strengthening customer relationships. The successful candidate will be part of the Cargo Division.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in focus markets through research, networking, cold calling and outreach.
• Manage the sales pipeline of qualified customers, converting them into new Parxl accounts.
• Analyse competitors' strategies, offerings and promotions.
• Deliver sales presentations, take part in RFQs and lead negotiations to close deals.
• Support marketing efforts such as industry events, webinars and networking.
• Coordinate customer on-boarding, including system integrations and operations.
• Monitor key customer accounts and performance, and act as liaison and advisor to overseas Parxl sales teams.
• Set metrics to track sales performance and manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Work with internal teams to improve Parxl offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• At least 2 years' experience in e-commerce logistics, supply chain or e-commerce is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to interpret business data and market trends, and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
