Senior Executive - Examinations Development

About the role

The ITE Headquarters is hiring a Senior Executive (also described as Deputy Manager) for its Examinations Development Department (EXMD). You will help ensure the quality, integrity and effective development of ITE examinations, working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to manage test items and item banks, coordinate examination paper development and align papers with curriculum requirements, Test Plans, Skills Standards and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the administration and maintenance of test items, examination papers and related assessment materials for assigned disciplines or item banks.
• Coordinate the development, review, translation and updating of test items with SMEs.
• Support SMEs in developing high-quality assessments through item bank management and paper development.
• Assemble examination papers from approved test items, ensuring alignment with Test Plans.
• Work with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure papers are developed, reviewed and ready on time.
• Perform quality assurance checks so papers are accurate, complete, consistent and ready for administration.
• Monitor item usage and maintain item bank records to support the reliability, validity and security of assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently and in a team.
• Meticulous attention to detail, good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with assessment design, examination development or educational assessment is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good IT proficiency and the ability to learn and use digital assessment systems.
