Job description
About the role
MUIS is hiring a Senior Executive for its public education and content team supporting Wakaf Masyarakat Singapura (WMS). You will help people understand cash wakaf and its role in sustaining Mosques, Education and Community (MEC), owning public education delivery from campaign planning and content production to being a relatable on-camera face of WMS. The role is offered on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Own the public education plan: turn WMS priorities into audience-focused campaigns and a rolling content calendar, set messages, deliverables, budgets and success measures, and evaluate progress.
- Create content from idea to publication: research, script, storyboard, film and edit short videos, Reels, carousels and stories, and develop repeatable formats such as cash wakaf explainers and community interviews.
- Present explainers, host interviews and capture event stories on camera, representing MUIS professionally within approved messages.
- Work with communications colleagues, mosques, youth groups, creators and community partners on content and activations, coordinating shoots and responding to audience questions.
- Manage WMS web, social, email and donation-journey performance across paid and organic campaigns, set KPIs, track conversions and calculate campaign ROI, recommending content, audience, channel and budget changes.
- Manage assignments, vendors and approved spend, follow procurement and editorial approvals, and maintain organised assets and records.
Required profile
- Tertiary education in any discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in communications, public education, digital marketing, content creation or related areas.
- Strong storytelling, copywriting and visual communication skills, with a portfolio of digital and social media content.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and emerging digital trends, especially reaching younger audiences.
- Strong written and verbal English; proficiency in Malay is an advantage.
- Interest in public service and Singapore's social and community development; appreciation of Singapore's multicultural and multireligious environment is an advantage.
- Willingness to support community engagements, filming and events outside regular office hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Required skills
- Photography, videography and video editing, with tools such as Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Insights.
- Project management and organisation skills.
