Senior Executive/Assistant Manager – Gastrointestinal Health Academic Clinical Program

About the role
The role supports the Gastrointestinal Health Academic Clinical Program (ACP) within the NHG Health–LKCMedicine–NTU Academic Health System, hosted at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. As the ACP Administrator, you will act as the operational backbone, coordinating clinical, research and educational activities while ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support in annual workplan formulation for the ACP Chair and Vice‑Chairs.
- Prepare annual ACP budget requests aligned with workplans.
- Liaise with the Academic Partnership Office to ensure timely submission of workplans and budgets.
- Collate performance indicators of ACP deliverables.
- Assist the ACP Chair in preparing financial statements and milestone reports for AHS Management Committee review.
- Support mid‑level staff in preparing research and education programme reports for the AHS Steering Committee.
- Coordinate with NHG Health and LKCMedicine Finance, HR, Research and Education Offices to ensure policy compliance.
- Provide secretariat support for all ACP meetings and events.
- Organise ACP communications, engagement activities, outreach events and medical conferences.
- Ensure ad‑hoc ACP activities comply with LKCMedicine and NHG Health policies.
- Work with the Office of Faculty Affairs to administer joint and adjunct faculty appointments and reappointments.
Required profile
- Degree in any discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in a healthcare or education setting (advantageous).
- Prior experience working with academic faculty (advantageous).
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
- Meticulous, well‑organized and able to multitask efficiently.
- Proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
