Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will lead financial planning and analysis to support plant performance and strategic decisions. You will partner with operations, supply chain and engineering to improve cost, profitability and cash flow while mentoring junior analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the plant.
• Analyze financial performance, including revenue, margins, manufacturing costs, inventory and profitability.
• Perform monthly close, variance analysis and prepare management reports.
• Develop financial models and business cases for pricing, CapEx and strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support decision‑making.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering to drive cost and productivity improvements.
• Support quote reviews, audits, SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Mentor junior analysts and continuously improve reporting processes.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in manufacturing.
• Prior audit experience (Big 4 or internal audit) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, costing, inventory and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under ambiguity and time pressure.
• Understanding of GAAP and valuation principles.
