Senior Freight Operations Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Freight Operations Executive to lead and optimise our daily shipping activities in Singapore. You will coordinate shipments, ensure compliance with trade regulations, and act as the primary liaison between customers, carriers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shipping operations to guarantee timely transportation of goods.
• Plan and manage consolidation boxes for overseas shipments.
• Arrange deliveries and pickups with logistics, warehouse teams and external partners.
• Prepare and oversee accurate shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, permits and certificates of origin.
• Handle import/export permits and ensure compliance with customs and international trade regulations.
• Liaise with customers, co‑loaders and overseas agents to resolve shipment issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with shipping vendors, carriers and hauliers.
• Monitor shipments, billing and documentation through internal systems, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Resolve any shipping, transportation or documentation problems to uphold service standards.
• Support ad‑hoc projects or tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field (preferred).
• 2‑3 years of experience in freight forwarding or freight consolidation (preferred).
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive learner, quick to adapt to new systems and processes.
• Immediate availability; Singaporean citizenship is advantageous.
