About the role
Asia Pulp & Paper’s Consumer Products Group, Tissues International, is expanding its presence in Singapore. The Senior Key Account Manager will lead growth, profitability and market share across modern trade and key retail accounts, shaping strategic sales and trade‑marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales and promotional plans to drive revenue, profitability and market share in modern trade.
- Lead new product launches, assortment planning and channel expansion while meeting short‑ and long‑term sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, distributors and retail partners; negotiate pricing, promotions and trade terms.
- Align trade‑marketing activities with sales goals, manage category planning, pricing and in‑store visibility.
- Ensure flawless execution of sales plans, promotions, pricing compliance and merchandising standards across assigned outlets.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor execution, gather competitor intelligence and provide actionable insights.
- Coach and guide sales merchandisers to improve execution capabilities and operational discipline.
Required profile
- Proven senior‑level experience in FMCG retail operations, key‑account management and distributor handling.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales growth and profitability.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build lasting retail partnerships.
- Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to coach and develop sales teams.
