Senior Lecturer – HR Technology, Analytics & AI

About the role

This position is responsible for developing and delivering high‑quality teaching in Human Resource Management with a strong focus on HR technology, analytics, process automation and AI‑enabled people practices. The role will design curricula for both Pre‑Employment Training and Continuing Education programmes, support applied learning through industry projects, and contribute to student development and institutional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver modules covering HR analytics, HR technology, AI in HR, workforce planning, talent development, performance management and change management.
• Create and review teaching, learning and assessment materials for PET and CET learners to ensure relevance and employability outcomes.
• Stay current with developments in HR technology and digital workforce transformation and integrate them into curriculum.
• Facilitate practice‑oriented learning through case studies, simulations and authentic assessments.
• Collaborate with industry partners to provide consultancy, live projects, internships and other applied learning opportunities.
• Supervise student projects, internships, competitions and community‑based learning activities.
• Support institution‑wide initiatives such as SkillsFuture, work‑study programmes and lifelong learning strategies.
• Participate in school, polytechnic and cross‑institution committees, quality assurance processes and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business, Organisational Development, People Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 4–8 years of industry experience in People Operations, People Analytics, HR Digital Transformation, HCM systems or Talent Management.
• Prior teaching experience, industry certifications or consultancy experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to teach in at least two areas such as HR analytics, HR technology, AI in HR, total rewards, learning & talent development, performance management, workforce planning or change management.
• Familiarity with IHRP competency areas, CET programme development and interdisciplinary teaching across business and technology subjects is desirable.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
