Senior Manager, Business - Biopharma Service

About the role

Brenntag is looking for a Senior Manager, Business for its Biopharma Service in Singapore. The role combines sales and strategy management, financial responsibility for the business unit and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Create sales plans, profit targets and market strategies, and find new business growth opportunities in target markets
• Assess market attractiveness, customer potential and commercial viability, then lead high-value sales opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure
• Manage day-to-day business operations and monitor competitors and market developments to strengthen market positioning
• Take full charge of the profit and loss (P&L), build cost estimates, pricing models and business proposals, and monitor performance via business analytics and CRM platforms
• Build strong ties with key customers, including executive-level relationships with global and regional customers, and manage key accounts to keep loyalty high
• Fix customer complaints and answer special requests

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Biopharma or a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in business development, strategic sales or commercial leadership roles in the life sciences, biopharma or chemical supply chain industry
• At least 8 years of experience managing customers and growth opportunities
• Proven track record in large-scale B2B sales, contract negotiations and business development
• Experience developing growth strategies, sector plans and customer acquisition initiatives
• Experience leading complex regional or global bids and strategic sales pursuits

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Contract Logistics and/or Service Logistics
• Stakeholder management with the ability to influence C-suite customers and cross-functional teams
