Senior Manager - Business Development & Partnerships

About the role

imPAct@Hong Lim Green (iHLG) is an incubation space that empowers working professionals to create change in their communities through curated programmes and volunteering. As Senior Manager, you will lead business development and strategic partnerships to grow iHLG's reach, identifying and developing corporate engagements, commercial collaborations and other income-generating initiatives. The role involves shift work across weekdays and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and develop new business and partnership opportunities aligned with iHLG's strategy and community purpose, and build a pipeline of opportunities from concept to implementation and evaluation.
• Explore new offerings, engagement models and collaborative initiatives, and craft value propositions and proposals for partners.
• Proactively engage corporates and other organisations, understand their priorities and lead partnership discussions and proposals.
• Develop business cases and implementation proposals, using market trends and partner feedback to inform new initiatives.
• Establish measures of success such as partnership quality, stakeholder value, programme contribution and organisational impact.
• Lead and develop staff, oversee budgets, procurement and resource use, and work with the Advisory Committee.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in business development, strategic partnerships and/or commercial management or related fields.
• Ability to identify opportunities, develop proposals and assess commercial and operational viability.
• Experience supervising or leading a team, with strong project, stakeholder and relationship management skills.
• Desirable: proactive self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, commercially minded, adaptable to multiple priorities, and collaborative.
