Senior Manager, Financial Partnerships APAC

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Partnerships APAC in Singapore. You will build, evaluate and manage key financial partnerships with banks across APAC, deepening Airwallex's product capabilities in the region and enabling launches in new markets. The role bridges financial partners and internal stakeholders and contributes to M&A activities that bring regulatory licenses in new geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Scope, establish, negotiate, implement and operationalise complex partnership engagements with banks across APAC
• Act as the bridge between financial partners and internal stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and outcomes
• Contribute to M&A activities by providing access to regulatory licenses in new geographies
• Help identify acquisition targets, carry out financial analysis and due diligence, and support new market development aligned with Airwallex's strategic goals and regulatory needs

Required profile

• At least 7 years of experience in a similar role in fintech, technology or top-tier management strategy/consulting
• Partnerships expertise, preferably with financial institutions such as banks, schemes and payment methods, and other fintechs
• Experience in both large organisations and fast-growing startups
• Prior M&A investment banking experience is a plus
