Senior Manager, Marketing Communications

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Communications to lead RQAM’s marketing, branding, corporate communications and community‑engagement initiatives across its managed assets. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the portfolio’s public profile, drive digital and physical touch‑point experiences, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead marketing communications strategies aligned with corporate, portfolio and asset objectives.
• Oversee portfolio branding, corporate communications, media relations, press releases and external communications.
• Support internal communications, management updates, shareholder communications and key presentation materials.
• Design and execute community engagement, placemaking and portfolio activation programmes with government agencies, tenants, local organisations and partners.
• Identify and activate common spaces and touchpoints through programming and partnerships.
• Manage the By The Bay (BTB) app, driving user adoption, participation and digital ecosystem performance.
• Lead integrated marketing, promotional, content and social‑media strategies to boost portfolio positioning, retail performance and footfall.
• Manage agency partnerships, media and activation spaces, marketing systems and vendor contracts.
• Establish departmental priorities, workplans, budgets and performance measures; prepare updates for Management, ExCo, Board and shareholders.
• Lead and develop the Marketing Communications team, fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
• 8‑10 years of experience in marketing communications, corporate communications, digital marketing or related fields.
• Preferably background in commercial real estate, retail, lifestyle, placemaking or asset management.
