Senior Manager, SingHealth Global Health Office

About the role

SingHealth International Collaborations has three strategic outreach offices: the International Collaboration Office, the SingHealth Global Health Office (SGHO) and the Asian Institute for Healthcare Leadership and Management. The Senior Manager, SGHO will handle the operational and administrative management of the office and also serve as Senior Manager of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI), a joint institute of the Academic Medical Centre (AMC). Overseas travel will be required.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a coordinating bridge between SingHealth institutions and the components of SDGHI, including its Cores and Regional Collaborating Centres.
• Work with institutional global health offices and partners on planning and executing global health activities, including support, fundraising, project development and capacity building.
• Perform administrative and operational functions so that SGHO and SDGHI workplans comply with SingHealth and Duke-NUS policies and practices.
• Manage and oversee the administrative and operational staff of SDGHI across SingHealth and Duke-NUS, supporting their professional development and training and building an effective team.
• Monitor and use the budget prudently in line with SingHealth and Duke-NUS policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in healthcare or a related industry, with at least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience and a proven track record in managing internal operations.
• Experience in people development and management, with reasonable project management capabilities.
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders across all levels.
• Culturally sensitive and able to work effectively in diverse, multicultural environments.
