Senior Manager, Training & Professional Education, APAC Surgical

About the role

This senior position leads the design, delivery and continuous improvement of sales and clinical training programs for the APAC Surgical business unit. The role partners with cross‑functional teams to ensure training aligns with business objectives and supports the adoption of innovative cardiac surgery technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and lead execution of business‑unit sales training programs, covering all delivery mechanisms.
• Design curriculum content for field‑based sales employees in collaboration with marketing, operations, medical affairs and other stakeholders.
• Assess field sales teams for knowledge, capabilities and skills, interpreting sales operations analytics.
• Partner with subject‑matter experts to create training that improves employee performance and business outcomes.
• Provide ongoing direction for development programs such as the Field Training Team and Leadership Development Program.
• Ensure training objectives are met consistently and comply with the overall sales training strategy.
• Measure program effectiveness through surveys, field feedback and KOL review, and implement improvement plans.
• Evaluate and lead the development of new training platforms.
• Create budget reports for project spend.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with at least 8 years in sales, marketing or healthcare.
• Proven experience within the medical device industry.
• Experience in instructional design and development of clinical and technical training content.
• Demonstrated success as a trainer in clinical and/or sales environments.
• Strong ability to translate complex clinical and technical concepts into engaging learning materials.
