Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Emerson is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join its Singapore team. The role focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement through automation and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance manufacturing efficiency via workflow improvements, layout optimization, automation solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead or support development, training, and qualification activities for new product introductions or technology transfers.
• Provide engineering support to resolve out‑of‑control situations, process issues, and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Conduct capacity studies and identify opportunities to improve bottleneck stations.
• Ensure processes and equipment comply with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, act quickly in fast‑paced environments, and deliver results under pressure.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint).
