Senior Murex BO Business Analyst

About the role

DXC Luxoft is looking for an experienced Murex Functional Consultant / Specialist to support a Murex implementation or change project in Singapore. The role defines, configures, validates and supports functional solutions within Murex across the Back Office area, working closely with business stakeholders, BA teams, developers and support teams. The position is relocation friendly.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and define target-state processes and functional designs for Murex implementation or change activities
• Identify standard configuration options, gaps, dependencies and potential workarounds, and recommend solutions aligned with business, risk, control and technical constraints
• Configure and maintain Murex components such as product setup, event generation, pricing parameters, market data setup, settlement and payment logic, accounting mappings, reporting and messaging
• Support end-to-end trade lifecycle processes, validate product behavior and troubleshoot pricing, risk, settlement, confirmation, accounting and reporting issues
• Define functional test scenarios and acceptance criteria, and support unit, system, integration, regression and UAT testing, including defect investigation and root-cause analysis
• Work with business users, BAs, developers and testers, communicate functional risks and dependencies, and contribute to cutover, go-live and hypercare support
• Support production issue investigation and post-go-live stabilization, and document functional designs, configuration notes, test scripts and support documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 6-7+ years of relevant working experience
• Proven experience as a Murex Back Office Functional Consultant / Specialist on implementation or change projects
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Murex and its functional configuration
• Experience in testing, issue analysis and defect resolution
• Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
