Senior Partner Operations Manager (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

Wise is hiring a Senior Partner Operations Manager in Singapore for its Wise Platform, which serves high-value enterprise partners. The role owns the operational strategy and day-to-day execution for a portfolio of partners, working with the Account Management team (who own the commercial relationship) and cross-functional teams to keep partners stable and growing.

Key responsibilities

• Set and drive the strategy for operational performance and volume retention, and resolve the root causes of issues with partners
• Co-own revenue retention and operational performance, acting as the final escalation point for operational concerns and running business review meetings
• Use data insights to track performance, reduce contact rates and improve transfer success, and implement initiatives that lower churn
• Own operational success plans and quarterly business reviews, presenting data analysis and progress updates to partners
• Advocate for partner needs, giving feedback to internal teams and influencing product roadmaps
• Optimise internal and external processes and develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at partner organisations
• Influence partners to use endpoints and webhooks to send transaction data via API to Wise, and review the quality of service against SLAs

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of operations experience, with a track record of managing enterprise or large corporate clients
• Fluency or business-professional level Japanese, for managing and supporting Japanese enterprise customers and holding business reviews in Japanese
• Experience driving projects that improve operational metrics and SLAs with measurable results
• Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 banks or large fintechs, and preferably prior payments or banking experience
• Familiarity with AML, KYC and PSD2 frameworks is an advantage

Required skills

• Technical fluency: understanding of APIs, webhooks and system integrations, without coding
• Data-driven decision-making and stakeholder management, including with C-level executives
• Clear communication of complex technical and operational concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
