Senior Program Manager, Global Quality

About the role

Micron is hiring a Technical Program Manager in its Global Quality (GQ) department. The role works with leadership teams to run projects and programs, including communication and change management, covering multiple complex projects aimed at specific business goals while balancing resource allocation. It involves analysing program progress in terms of root cause analysis, risks, resource consumption, interdependencies and gaps.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that multiple projects progress toward the GQ strategic direction.
• Lead or support cross-functional initiatives with peers and functional managers on global initiatives and strategic projects.
• Build and improve relationships with internal customers by understanding their requirements and delivering value consistently.
• Communicate program status regularly to supervisors, leadership and project teams in a concise way.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering or another engineering discipline (required).
• 5+ years of meaningful experience as a Project Manager.
• Preferred: DRAM Memory and/or Cloud Computing experience, and semiconductor industry experience (front-end or back-end process).
• Preferred: Business Administration/Management background and PMP certification.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Tableau or other data reporting, management and visualization software.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking and project management skills.
