Senior Project Manager

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager you will lead the delivery of data‑centre and telecom projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of health, safety, environment, schedule, design, scope, quality and cost. You will work within AtkinsRéalis’ quality management system, driving continuous improvement and aligning with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and administer projects using established work processes and quality systems.
• Lead interactive planning sessions, develop and maintain project schedules.
• Identify risks, maintain a project risk register and implement mitigation actions.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure all work‑package requirements are fulfilled.
• Manage project team members, ensuring efficient task completion.
• Support procurement and contract administration, including specification preparation, tender evaluation, negotiation, contract award, and final account closure.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience delivering data‑centre or telecom projects.
• Understanding of modular construction is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Professional accreditation such as PMP, RICS or CIOB preferred.
• Experience with statutory submissions for fit‑out works.
• Ability to work independently, run construction meetings and coordinate across clients, consultants and contractors.
