Senior Psychologist (Intellectual Disabilities)

About the role

MINDS is seeking a Senior Psychologist to join its multidisciplinary team supporting persons with intellectual disabilities (PWIDs). The role involves delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and capacity evaluations while collaborating with clinicians, educators, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and mental‑capacity assessments under supervision.
• Identify and propose contextual adaptations for assessment tools.
• Present case findings to the psychological services team.
• Develop evidence‑based intervention plans with multidisciplinary teams for routine and medico‑legal cases.
• Deliver psycho‑educational programmes for clients and partner organisations.
• Collect and analyse data to support research and service improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance client care.
• Maintain adherence to clinical, legal, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Psychology or a Master’s in Counselling, Clinical, Educational, or Applied Psychology (preferred).
• Certification in mental‑capacity assessment (preferred).
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge or expertise in disability services.
• Registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (preferred).
