Senior QC Engineer / QC Lead

About the role

Vinova, a development company founded in 2010 for mobile, web and enterprise applications, is looking for a detail-oriented, pragmatic Quality Control / Test Engineer to champion software quality and reliability across its enterprise and mission-critical client solutions. You will design, execute and govern testing strategies across the full software testing lifecycle (STLC) in an Agile delivery rhythm, working closely with Business Analysts and Developers to validate complex business logic, inspect APIs and ensure systems meet strict compliance, security and performance benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Design test scenarios, test cases and execution plans for manual, integration, regression and end-to-end testing across web and enterprise platforms
• Validate backend services, data exchange and API integrity using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI or equivalent tools
• Manage test execution, test artifacts and requirement traceability in Watermelon or similar platforms; log, track and re-verify defects
• Take part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies with Business Analysts and developers to clarify requirements and validate fixes
• Run baseline performance and load tests (JMeter, K6 or equivalent) to find bottlenecks before production release
• Ensure applications comply with industry standards, data protection rules and client regulatory requirements before sign-off

Required profile

• Proven experience as a QC/Test Engineer or Software QA Engineer in commercial IT projects
• Strong practical knowledge of manual, integration, end-to-end and regression testing within STLC
• Good working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, user story analysis and defect triage
• Attention to detail, strong problem solving and clear technical communication

Required skills

• API testing with Postman, Swagger, SoapUI or similar
• Test management tools such as Watermelon or Jira
• Bonus: performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, K6), test automation concepts or basic scripting, and prior experience in banking, finance, government or regulated sectors
