Senior Regional Tax Manager – Singapore

About the role
Our client, a multinational organisation with operations across Asia and other international markets, is seeking a Senior Regional Tax Manager to join its Group Tax team in Singapore. Reporting to the Head of Tax, the role will lead tax matters across multiple jurisdictions and drive the implementation of Pillar 2 (GloBE) requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all Group tax functions, including corporate income tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and international tax planning across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage tax compliance and reporting for overseas entities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Drive transfer pricing compliance, including preparation and maintenance of documentation, Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) and BEPS‑related requirements.
- Implement and maintain Pillar 2 (GloBE) compliance across more than 10 jurisdictions, handling deferred tax assessments and filing obligations.
- Develop tax strategies to optimise the Group’s tax position while complying with evolving international regulations.
- Provide tax advisory support on business operations, market expansion, corporate restructuring, financing arrangements and other strategic initiatives.
- Lead tax due diligence, transaction structuring and post‑acquisition tax integration for M&A and cross‑border projects.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, legal counsel and tax authorities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant tax experience in a multinational corporation, Big 4 or leading international tax advisory firm.
- Strong experience in international tax, transfer pricing and cross‑border tax planning.
- Hands‑on experience with Pillar 2 (GloBE) implementation is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in tax due diligence, transaction structuring and post‑merger integration.
Required skills
- Technical knowledge of corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, BEPS and CbCR, especially across China, Hong Kong and other jurisdictions.
- Excellent analytical, project management and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence to work across regional and global teams.
