Senior RTR Accountant – 1 Year Contract (Maternity Cover)

About the role

The Senior RTR Accountant will join the Financial Shared Service Centre in Singapore, reporting to the RTR Lead, GFS APAC. This 1‑year contract covers maternity leave and focuses on delivering the Record‑to‑Report function across APAC markets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define service standards and manage service level agreements.
• Maintain ledger integrity and ensure compliance with internal policies, US GAAP and local accounting standards.
• Review and post month‑end close entries accurately and on time.
• Prepare P&L and balance‑sheet analysis, reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Support internal controls, SOX compliance and audit processes.
• Collaborate with local finance teams, external auditors and service providers.
• Identify process improvements and support ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational corporation.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or an MBA (preferred).

• Oracle or SAP (or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
