Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

Castlery is rethinking homes and needs a Senior SEO Specialist to lead its organic growth engine. You will shape the content pipeline, improve visibility in traditional search and AI‑generated answers, and directly influence traffic, engagement and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end content pipeline across multiple verticals, from keyword and search‑intent research to briefing, publishing and ongoing optimisation.
• Audit existing content and landing pages, identify gaps and quick wins, then plan, execute and measure the resulting improvements.
• Develop user‑focused content formats such as FAQs, comparison tables and answer‑led pages that perform well in both classic search and AI‑generated responses.
• Expand GEO visibility by creating citation‑worthy content, monitoring generative‑AI presence and defining success metrics.
• Track traffic, engagement and search performance, build dashboards and reporting, and translate insights into a prioritized roadmap.
• Apply core SEO fundamentals hands‑on, including metadata, structured data, schema markup, internal linking and CMS publishing.
• Raise the editorial standard of all published assets, ensuring clarity, structure, persuasion and consistent brand voice.
• Collaborate with Social Organic, Country CRM and Partnerships teams to amplify content and drive awareness and sales.
• Stay ahead of evolving search behaviour and guide the wider team through changes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of SEO experience, with at least 1 year focused on GEO implementation or content optimisation.
• Strong understanding of e‑commerce and online business models.
• Proven ability to conduct keyword research, technical SEO audits and performance measurement.
• Experience creating content that appears in AI‑generated answers and citation‑based results.
