Senior Site Engineer (Building)

About the role

The Senior Site Engineer will lead the on‑site execution of commercial building projects, ensuring that programmes, quality standards and safety requirements are met. You will act as the main technical liaison between subcontractors, internal teams and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and update the master construction programme and, when needed, develop catch‑up schedules.
• Supervise engineers and foremen, enforcing quality procedures and workmanship standards.
• Review subcontractor work for compliance with quality and quantity specifications.
• Prepare detailed site programmes, method statements and work instructions.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues in coordination with the technical team.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and internal departments to meet manpower, material and equipment demands.
• Liaise with consultants on structural work submissions and technical documentation.
• Plan site activities, forecast resources and control material wastage.
• Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial building construction.
• Completed at least one full building project cycle.
