Senior Software Consultant - 12 Months Agency Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Consultant to join our team on a 12‑month agency contract. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑quality software applications and backend services for fintech and blockchain projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and backend services.
• Develop scalable and reliable system architecture and technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code following engineering standards.
• Participate in technical planning, architecture design, and solution evaluation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimise system performance, stability, and security.
• Lead or contribute to code reviews and ensure software quality through testing and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain technical documentation for design, development, deployment, and support.
• Support production systems and resolve critical technical issues when required.
• Evaluate and adopt suitable technologies to improve development efficiency and system capabilities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience in fintech, blockchain, cryptocurrency or other technology‑driven industries is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex technical assignments.
