Senior Software Engineer

About the role

A full-time, permanent, on-site Senior Software Engineer position in Singapore. The role supports the development and enhancement of software, covering software development, system-level problem solving, customer requirement analysis and continuous improvement of existing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions for new and existing platforms.
• Turn customer and system requirements into practical software solutions.
• Support software upgrades, enhancements and performance improvements.
• Investigate and resolve software issues raised by customers and internal teams.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve reliability and functionality.
• Build a strong understanding of metrology equipment, system architecture and platform operation.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on product development and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of software development experience, preferably with C++.
• Experience on technical, engineering, scientific or data-intensive applications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Software engineering, algorithms and data structures.
• C++ preferred.
• Advantageous: AI/ML, numerical computing, scientific computing or engineering algorithms.
• Plus: experience with local LLMs, on-premises AI or edge AI.
