Senior Solution Engineer, Malaysia

About the role

Salesforce is looking for a presales professional to join its team as an Account Solution Engineer, covering the Malaysia territory. The role partners with enterprise organisations to turn their challenges into business outcomes through Salesforce solutions, working with business and technology leaders and acting as a trusted advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enterprise accounts across industries in Malaysia through discovery sessions and workshops
• Align technology solutions to client strategies, building consensus across Salesforce product lines
• Work on business development, operations and IT strategy assignments and product demonstrations
• Define complex business problems, propose solution options and recommend next steps
• Help clients develop decision frameworks and governance processes
• Demonstrate connected experiences and customised solutions through live product demos
• Build and present tailored solutions to multiple customer personas, and convey the customer's Salesforce architecture
• Lead cross-functional solutions engagements and take part in product, sales and procedural training and certifications
• Travel as needed within Malaysia and the region

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or an equivalent technical discipline
• Strong oral and written communication in Bahasa Melayu and English, able to engage clients and stakeholders across Malaysia and Singapore
• Team player with solid presentation and interpersonal skills
• Experience evaluated on core competencies such as leadership, volunteer or work experience

Required skills

• Knowledge of related applications, relational databases and web technology
• Even better: Salesforce certifications, previous solution/sales engineer experience at a CRM company, basic HTML programming, familiarity with the Malaysian business landscape
