Senior System Analyst – Java

About the role

We are seeking a Senior System Analyst with strong Java expertise to join our IT team in Singapore. In this role you will design, develop and integrate technology solutions that align with business objectives, while providing technical leadership to junior analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end systems analysis and design, including requirements gathering, process modelling and solution architecture.
• Collaborate with business units to translate operational needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Oversee system integration efforts to ensure seamless interoperability between internal and external platforms.
• Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet quality standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts and project team members.
• Monitor system performance and drive initiatives to improve reliability, security and scalability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation such as BRDs, functional specs, design documents and test plans.
• Coordinate with external vendors and system integrators to meet project timelines and budgets.

Required profile

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 6‑8 years of experience in systems analysis, IT project delivery or a related field, preferably in a large enterprise or public sector.
• Proven experience managing full project lifecycles from requirements to post‑implementation support.
• Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
