About the role
The Senior Technical Officer will support the Resident Engineer and project team in supervising civil works on site, ensuring that construction activities meet the approved designs and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising civil works and monitoring construction progress.
- Inspect construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants and other stakeholders on site matters.
- Attend site inspections, technical and coordination meetings as required.
- Maintain site records, inspection reports and other project documentation.
- Report any quality, safety or technical issues to the Resident Engineer.
Required profile
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision of civil works.
- Good communication and coordination skills, able to work independently and within a team.
Required skills
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of site inspection procedures.
