Senior Technical Officer – Tunnel

About the role

The Senior Technical Officer will support the Resident Engineer and project team in supervising tunnelling and related civil works, ensuring that construction complies with design and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect construction activities against approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Coordinate technical and construction matters with contractors, consultants and other stakeholders on site.
• Maintain site records, inspection reports and documentation, and attend coordination and technical meetings.
• Identify non‑conformances, safety concerns or quality issues and report them to the Resident Engineer.
• Ensure compliance with project quality, safety and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tunnel, MRT, underground or civil construction projects.
• Experience in site supervision and inspection of civil works.

Required skills

• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and site documentation.
• Ability to monitor work progress and highlight quality or safety issues.
