Senior Trading Consultant

About the role

Murex is seeking a Senior Trading Consultant to join its global trading team. You will work with banks, asset managers and corporations, helping them optimise their commodities and FX options trading processes using the Murex platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering and solution design for commodities or FX options projects.
• Provide proactive support to trading desks, matching their needs with Murex capabilities.
• Prepare and deliver presales presentations for prospects and existing clients.
• Supervise implementation activities, ensuring fit‑for‑purpose delivery and quality.
• Train users, external consultants and junior Murex consultants.
• Optionally manage client production support, lead trading designers, or act as a regional product liaison.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• At least 5 years of proven Murex consulting experience (CS or PDD) in commodities or FX options.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Systematic problem‑solver with critical thinking abilities.
