Senior Training Specialist – GMP Programs

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Training Specialist to lead and maintain its GMP training program. The role involves designing, delivering, and continuously improving training modules that support compliance and operational excellence across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, administer, and maintain a comprehensive GMP training program.
• Develop training modules in partnership with functional managers and subject‑matter experts.
• Conduct orientation, learning, and skill‑building sessions for new hires, transfers, and promoted employees.
• Maintain the Training Quality System and ensure periodic review of training requirements.
• Publish training metrics and support functional managers with employee training plans.
• Serve as the Site Quality representative for GMP training.
• Lead site training initiatives, continuous‑improvement projects, and new product introductions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sciences (Biology, Chemistry), Pharmacy, or Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in training program management within a GxP/compliance environment.
• Proven experience in documentation control and training program delivery.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly motivated, independent, organized, and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with Training Management Systems.
