Senior/Staff Operating Theatre Nurse (Full/Part-time)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior/Staff Nurse to work in the Operating Theatre of JurongHealth Campus. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and involves delivering high‑quality peri‑operative care to patients while supporting surgeons and the theatre team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with the surgical team and ensure seamless workflow.
• Provide instruments, needles, swabs and other materials to surgeons, anticipating their needs.
• Prepare the operating room by procuring equipment, supplies, consumables and infusions required for each procedure.
• Check and verify the proper functioning of all equipment before surgery.
• Operate and handle operating‑room equipment competently during procedures.
• Maintain safety of surgical instruments, equipment and consumables throughout the operation.
• Enforce strict infection‑control standards.
• Respond effectively to emergency clinical situations and mobilise assistance as needed.
• Monitor patients, provide post‑anaesthetic care, document assessments and manage drains, infusions and medications.
• Transfer patients after appropriate recovery and observation in the recovery room.

Required profile

• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
• Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or State Registered Nurse Certificate.
• Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for senior staff positions.
