SEO Consultant (4‑month contract, renewable)

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Consultant on a 4‑month renewable contract to lead a comprehensive SEO audit of our academic website. The consultant will evaluate on‑page and technical SEO, conduct keyword research and propose an implementation roadmap to improve search visibility and support AI‑powered search experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full SEO audit of the 8 Academic Schools landing pages and 41 diploma course pages.
• Assess on‑page elements such as page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, image optimisation, structured data/schema markup, content quality and duplicate content.
• Review technical SEO factors, including mobile optimisation and site performance.
• Conduct keyword research aligned with key stakeholder groups.
• Identify opportunities to optimise content for AI‑driven search features such as AI Overviews and generative search.
• Deliver a clear implementation roadmap and present findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Proven experience using SEO audit tools.
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
