SEO Content Intern – Regional Brand & Growth Marketing

About the role

Join Shopee’s SEO Content Team as an SEO Content Intern, supporting regional brand and growth marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with the Regional SEO Assistant Manager and SEO Specialist to create and optimise content that drives search visibility across Shopee’s platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit, and optimise SEO‑focused articles, landing pages, and product content following established frameworks and SOPs.
• Conduct keyword research and apply on‑page SEO best practices such as meta titles, descriptions, internal linking, and keyword placement.
• Publish and manage content through CMS platforms, ensuring proper formatting for LLM extraction where relevant.
• Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) for content ideation, workflow improvements, and draft generation.
• Review, fact‑check, and refine AI‑assisted drafts to maintain accuracy, quality, and brand voice.
• Track content performance, generate reports, and suggest optimisation actions.
• Contribute ideas for content experiments and emerging AI‑powered search trends.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the Regional SEO Content Team.

Required profile

• Strong written and editing abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and content‑writing best practices.
• Ability to research, synthesize information, and produce clear, engaging copy.
• Willingness to learn and experiment with AI tools in content creation.
• Interest in staying up‑to‑date with search trends and AI‑driven experiences.
