Service Registrar – Experienced Doctor

About the role

The Service Registrar is an experienced medical doctor who has completed or is undergoing advanced specialist training. Working within a hospital setting, the registrar provides both inpatient and outpatient care while supervising junior medical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Medical Officers and House Officers in clinical duties.
• Deliver general inpatient and outpatient care under the guidance of accredited specialist doctors.
• Admit patients and manage their care plans in collaboration with senior specialists.
• Conduct night ward rounds and be on call for admissions and emergencies.

Required profile

• Active clinical practice in Singapore.
• Basic medical degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Postgraduate medical qualification (e.g., MRCP, MRCS) registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Completed Basic Specialist Training or equivalent.

Required skills

• Clinical supervision of junior doctors.
• Inpatient care management.
