About the role
The Service Registrar is an experienced doctor undertaking advanced specialist training. The role involves delivering both inpatient and outpatient care while supervising junior medical staff within a Singapore hospital setting.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise Medical Officers and House Officers in clinical duties.
- Provide general inpatient and outpatient care under the supervision of accredited specialist doctors.
- Admit patients and manage their care plans in collaboration with senior specialists.
- Conduct ward rounds during night shifts and be on call for admitting nights.
Required profile
- Active clinical practice in Singapore.
- Basic medical degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
- Postgraduate medical qualification (e.g., MRCP, MRCS) registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
- Completed Basic Specialist Training or equivalent training.
Required skills
- Medical degree registrable with Singapore Medical Council.
- Postgraduate qualification such as MRCP or MRCS.
- Completion of Basic Specialist Training.
